BenSherman is the name for the Mod era and mens Ben Sherman shirts are still so popular these days!

I come across a lot of Ben Sherman mens and boys shirts, tops, Ben Sharmen t shirts and jeans on my travels.
This Sherman shirt – seen here on the left is in the classic style -button down collar, pleat and loop to the back, Ben Sherman stitched to breast pocket and Ben Sherman tag to bottom.
This particular item of Ben Sherman clothing is a large size, – 46″ chest in medium blue with faint yellow lines that form a large grid design.
Ben Sherman was the Mod king. He began designing and manufacturing great shirts in the 1950’s, from humble beginings in Brighton, soon became the swinging king of Carnaby street in the 60’s
Into the seventies and we see Ben Sherman heading for the good live on the Australian beaches and changes within the company as well – always striving for superior quality and tailoring.
The Bensherman unique features being the classic button down collar, pleat and loop to the back.
So from his unknown roots in the 50’s Ben Sharman became the trademark for all aspiring Mod youth in the seventies a true lifestyle!

This is a large size again 44″ chest with the classic Ben Sharman features – button down collar, back pleat and loop
Tiny light blue check design and in great condition.
